My neighbor Anne says, “Gardeners are artists that use the soil for their canvas and flowers and plants for their paints.” I agree with Anne. I enjoy walking through neighborhoods and see beautiful living art this time of year. What a vibrant combination of plants above and a muted color palate with a sprinkling of red below!
Even a small area can pop with color with plants in pots.
Maryland’s Black-eyed Susan are at their peak. Yellow and green with black-eyed spots.
You can’t go wrong mixing colors – nature has created these colors.
I hope I’ve inspired you become an artist and to plant some flowering plants next year. The butterflies and bees will be thankful too.
Keep creating,
Dee
