Halloween brings out artistic carvers in the young and old.  The fun begins when we pick out a pumpkin – round or oblong, big or small.  After choosing a pumpkin, then the preparation of the pumpkin canvas begins.  A top lid is carved out to provide access to the seeds, innards, and stringy slime.  Scooping out the inside of a pumpkin has always been my favorite part of pumpkin carving.  Then come that hard part, what do you carve?
