Well if you did not go to the Nautical & Wildlife Art Festival and Craft Show in Ocean City Maryland you missed a good time. All of the displays were exceptional. Here are a few of the Chesapeake artisans I met at the show.
Copper Creations by Don and Donna Drew – Beautifully crafted copper creations of the Bay wildlife from Melfa, Va.
Driftwood by the Sea by Margaret Thrift and Adam Snyder – Driftwood ships and images in driftwood from Selbyville, Md.
Model Boats by John Into and Nancy Price – Beautifully crafted wooden model boats from St. Michaels, Md.
Duck Decoys and Wildlife Carvings from Veasey and Dimmig – Amazing and beautifully crafted from Elkton, Md.
Mama-Girl Folk Art by Mary Onley – Paper mache folk art from Painter, Va.
Also, favorite friends were there. Miraim’s scented soaps from Purple Lily Studio from Annapolis, Md.
Plus many more talented artisans. Please plan to attend next year. Also a lot of the artisans promised to let me know when they will be showing again and I promise to past the dates on to you.
Happy Creating,
Dee
P.S. Here is my fired mug as promised. I’m quite pleased, I haven’t applied glaze on pottery since along time ago in high school. I plan use this mug when I’m painting.
Some shot of the deserted beach in January. It will be filled with people in a couple of months.
