Queen Anne County Sea Glass Semi-Annual Sea Glass Vendor Fair

This weekend is the Queen Anne County Sea Glass Semi-Annual Sea Glass Vendor Fair held at Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center in Grasonville, Maryland.

Friday, November 1st, there will be jewelry workshops from 1: 00 pm until 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.  Space is limited and there is a $25 fee per workshop.  A lecture, “From Bottles to Sea Glass” by Sea Glass expert Richard LaMotte  will be held at 7:00 pm please call QAC @ (410)604-2100 to reserve your space there is a $5 fee/person.

Saturday is the Semi Annual Sea Glass Vendor Fair from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm with free admission.

What is sea glass?  Sea glass is a piece of glass that has been in a body of water and has been tumbled into a smooth and frosty gem by a combination of surf, sand and stones.  Sea glass can be found when walking along a sandy beach and can be found in different sizes and colors.  Add looking for sea glass to your next trip to the beach.
