I have found some hidden mosaics while traveling around the bay area.  This mosaic of an oyster can can be found in the parking lot at the Eastport Maritime museum in Eastport, MD.  The museum tells the story of the oyster industry.  This mosaic is beautiful and I love how it sparkles in the sun.

These mosaics are on the recreation building in St. Michaels, MD.  They are a wonderful addition to the building.

This not-so-hidden mosaic is on the beach at North Beach, MD.  I like how it depicts the bay with Herons, fish, jelly fish and other bay animals.

Keep your eyes open as you travel, you don’t know what art you may find.
