When visiting Maryland Hall of the Arts in Annapolis you can see this mosaic. It is fun looking at each tile and identifying the difference objects used. Shell, beads, and soda can pull tabs were some the of the materials used to create the tiles.

Then walking down the hall to the classrooms you find another beautiful mosaic in a drinking fountain alcove.
